True North is based on characters I’ve used in editorial cartoons for a chain of newspapers in southwest Minneapolis. But, I won’t reprint any of those. They’re not worth the time to read, and most of the jokes are local anyway.

So, the cartoon strips are now being printed in a local paper with a circulation of 250-500. I know…whoopee…oh well, it’s how Amber Waves got started (as I sidenote, I actually worked with Dave Phipps who also threw my bachelor party. Small world, eh?).

Anyway you can now read all of the previous cartoons. More will be added, and hopefully one day I’ll have a bigger circulation. Enjoy!
